Pender was founded in 2003 and is an independent, employee-owned investment firm located in Vancouver, British Columbia.

From day one we were focused on building an investment firm with a proven process for investors looking for returns in non-core asset classes over the long term. We have honed our passion for investing, our curiosity for uncovering hidden gems and our discipline and expertise into a set of core competencies: corporate credit, inefficient and active equity, private technology and other alternative strategies.
